Same deal as Stud

Everything about the deal and the betting is Seven Card Stud: antes, two down and one up, three more up and one down, small bets then big bets. The lowest door card brings it in, and from fourth street the best high hand showing acts first.

Two hands from seven cards

At the showdown you pick your best five for high and your best five for low. They can share cards. Half the pot goes to the best high, half to the best low. Win both and you scoop.

Eight or better
A low is five cards of different ranks, all 8 or lower.
Aces are low
For the low an ace counts as 1. For the high it is still an ace.
Straights and flushes are fine
They do not spoil a low.
No low, no split
If nobody has a low, the best high hand wins the whole pot.
  1. The wheel

The best low there is. Straights and flushes do not count against you, so this is perfect.

    • Three of hearts
    • Two of spades
    • Ace of clubs
  2. Six low

    • Six of diamonds
    • Four of hearts
    • Three of clubs

  3. Seven low

    Still a great low.

The worst low that still counts in an eight-or-better game.
